Words alone cannot express the sorrow I feel for losing this wonderfully sweet and caring woman. She has lifted me out of darkness with just a smile. Her hugs are without measure, her love is without limits, and her generosity without equal. As I sit tearfully writing this I remember the first time I met you. Concern about meeting my new in-laws quickly dissolved. I was welcomed into your home with the biggest of smiles and the warmest of welcomes. I have felt like I belonged ever since. I love you Marilynn and I miss you. I will try my best to be the son-in-law you believed me to be. I will continue to do my best to care for your family. I'll miss you mom.
Thanks Marlene for saying what I too want to say. You, Marilynn and I were the nurses among our many cousins, and we shared that bond with one another. I saw her when she came to Cashton to visit her parents and visited her and Ron once in Texas. She was an amazing, lovely and nurturing person. I will treasure her last letter to me from this past Christmas.

I loved my dear cousin Marilynn so much. She was the reason I became a registered nurse and I will always be greateful for her guidance. She had such a great smile, sense of humor and how I enjoyed the times we saw one another. Through the years she was there for me more than once and a great comfort when my parents and husband died. I will miss her so much. My deepest sympathy to her family. Love, Counsin Marlene
