Marjorie Jane Patteson's Obituary
Marjorie Jane Patteson died peacefully in her sleep on October 3, 2014 at the age of 89. She grew up on a ranch in the Davis Mountains area of west Texas where she enjoyed a magical childhood with her parents, Beau and Josie McCutcheon. In 1944, she married Donald D. Patteson, a dashing Army Air Corp officer. They danced a lot, laughed often, raised a family and had just celebrated their 61st anniversary before his death in 2005. She is survived by her son Don Patteson and wife Paula, her daughter Letha Noska and husband Carl, grandchildren Doug Patteson and wife Susan, Paige Mays and husband Buddy, Lindsay Rhodes and husband Sam, Vicky Williams and husband Rick, and Christy Stout and husband John. Her great-grandchildren are Beau Patteson, Callie Patteson, Sam Patteson, MaryKatherine Patteson, Tyler Mays, McKenzie Mays, Maddux Rhodes, JT Rhodes, Ricky Williams, Trace Stout, Josephine Stout, and Samantha Stout. As her family, we are celebrating a life filled with love for the Lord, a life well lived, and a life well loved. She nurtured us all, loved us all and fed us all in a most marvelous fashion. Cooking was a calling in her life and she loved to feed her friends and family. We all enjoyed it too, as she was a most excellent cook. We loved her immensely and will miss her always. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
