Today is your birthday, but you are celebrating in Heaven. It's been a year now and I miss you so! I think of you often as I do the many things we shared an interest in - our faith, reading, art, writing, birding... you have left an enormous part of you inside my heart. I am forever grateful you took interest in me when I was a teenager, and even though you were my Dad's cousin, we were as close as aunt/niece or even sisters. We were the best pen pals! I owe much of my writing journey to you as well as the spiritual wisdom I've obtained along the way. You will never be gone from my life; you've made such an impact, I'll always have you with me.
