Dick and I remember our friends, Jon and Mary. Jon was Dick's college roommate at the U/WI when they both studied engineering. Mary lived only a few doors away and what a great time we had as young persons in Madison, WI. Jon was a groomsman at our 1966 wedding and Mary attended as a guest. Later, we all raised our kids in Richardson and socialized together. Erik and Valerie, I hope you have read my note I left the day of the service as I look forward to hearing from you. Your parents did matter to us and we considered them our good friends. Blessings.

Prayers and condolences to Mary's family. I don't know if you'll remember me or not, but Erik and Valerie I used to babysit you a LOT. Your mom's obituary is one of the best I've ever read, and truly, truly captures her feisty spirit and great humor. Mary was a wonderful friend, a terrific mother and and the best wallpaper hanger I can remember when our daughter Jodi and Valerie first meet in Elementary school and the play dates that we arranged for the girls. The girls still keep in touch. Mary will be truly missed by all who knew her. Lots of prayers and condolences to all of her family, friends, and especially to Valerie and Eric's family.
When she and I traveled to Galapagos Islands and South America's countries of Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, after dinner, while I was writing in my journal about the day's fun, and reading about the next day's adventures, Mary was down at the bar hearing all the gossip of our travel mates on our tour. Condolences to everyone during this difficult time. I remember a few mid 1970s Easter gatheirngs at the KC Hall in Eau Claire and thought Mary was classy, sophisticated and kind.
