It is very hard to put into words how much Mary Ann will be missed. She was so warm, kind and generous to all of us. May God bless all of her family with comfort at this time. With Love, Sharon and Richard (Beau's brother)
It was always such a pleasure to see Mary Ann coming down the hall at Cedar Valley. She was unwavering in her smile, her good wishes, and her love and concern for both students and her colleagues. She will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her. Claire Gauntlett
Dear Gary, Keith and Melissa, Rachel and Beau, Many accolades could be made about Mary Ann because she excelled in everything and accomplished so much. She was the finest Christian example of a devoted wife, mother and friend who never thought of herself. Her love for all of us was unsurpassed. She was my friend for 61 years and will continue to be throughout all eternity. She was a Prayer Warrior who prayed for you, me and countless others. I recall the Methodist Prayer Room where she prayed individually for many. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Church where she taught many years. Mary Ann was always there for me through all circumstances of my life. She will be missed, but all of us know she is with our Heavenly Father. Our wonderful lasting memories will sustain us and encourage each of us until that time we will be united with her and our Savior. Bless you during this time and know I will always be here for you. Love, Betty Lou Saye
Otto Prado, Eric Prado and I, Maria, send our deepest condolences to Mr. Youngblood and family. Mary Ann was my mentor at Cedar Valley College and my dear friend. The Lord now embraces her forever. Amen.
I will always remember my Aunt Mary Ann for her beautiful smile and encouraging cards. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary and even my kids refer to her as their Aunt Mary Ann. She will be missed but we celebrate her life well lived and rejoice with the angels in Heaven. Our thought and prayers are with you! Love, D'Anne
I loved teaching English with Mary Ann at Cedar Valley College. Her office was near mine, and we always took the time to sit and talk about our day. She had so many stories to share and never missed an opportunity to express the great love she had for her family. All of you were her world. Mary Ann mentored me when I became a new faculty member at Cedar Valley in 2000, and I am still teaching there. My office is a few doors down from where hers was. She was always so gracious and sincere. She was a great Christian lady who had high standards and lived them out herself. She was a blessing and a joy to be around. Her love for students and Cedar Valley could also never be denied. She always gave 110% in all that she did. It was an honor to have worked with her. She will be sorely missed! May God give all of you the strength only He can give during this very difficult and painful time. Sincerely, Rebekah Rios-Harris
Mary Ann Youngblood greatly impacted my life, as well as the lives of many others, with her kindness, prayers, her continued and steadfast support, and most importantly, her friendship to my family. Mary Ann prayed for me through some of the most difficult and painful times in my life. Her faith has always been an inspiration, and she meant so very much to our family. Countless times my Mom or Dad would tell me that Mary Ann had added me and my son, Chris, to her prayer list. Not only would she pray, she would check on my family with numerous phone calls and visits to the hospital. She was a huge comfort to me and my whole family. She lived a life that made a difference and her love for the Lord was shown in all her acts of kindness which were many. My deepest condolences go out to Gary, Keith, Melissa, Sam, Rachel and Beau. I have always admired Mary Ann…for her compassion, her kindness, her unwavering faith. As one of His most faithful servants, she was never without a smile, a kind word, and a prayer. While I will miss her deeply, I will rejoice in the fact that she is with Him. My deepest sympathies are with each of you…Gary, Keith, Melissa, Sam, Rachel and Beau. May you find peace through God's grace during this difficult time. With much love, Lynn Corniello
Dear Keith, It is with deepest sympathy that I offer my condolences at the passing of your mother. Words alone are inadequate at a time like this but just know that others share your sorrow. Your neighbor, Jim
