Mary Jean Creel's Obituary
Mary Jean Creel peacefully passed away January 29, 2020 at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by Husband Billie Joe Creel, her parents, and her siblings. Survived by children Marianne Congas and Husband Steve, Len Creel and Wife Janet, Danny Creel and Wife Donna. Also 13 Grandchildren and several extended family members. Born in McAlister, Oklahoma, she lived in Caddo Oklahoma where her Father was a physician. She loved and excelled in school, and obtained both her Bachelor and Masters degrees in English from Southwestern State College. Jean married Joe Creel in 1950 and they settled in Dallas Texas where they raised their family and taught English in DISD for 33 years until retirement. Jean resided in Waxahachie, Texas with her beloved pets. She loved Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, her pets, and her books. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Services: Noon Monday February 3 at Restland Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to her service.
