I have wonderful memories of Mary and of always feeling comfortable and welcome. I smile when I think of the visits, the meals, the laughter, the phone chats. Mary has always been the true embodiment of love, kindness, gentle spirit, and strength.
Mary was always so sweet to my wife Barbara and me. She would bring us baked pie's when we were coming to the office where she would keep busy. Always remembered you and would give us a hug and a friendly greeting. I will always remember Mary making me home make pie's. Charles and Barbara from Atoka
Aunt Mary is in my earliest memories. She was always kind and sweet to everyone and loved by everyone. I loved her chocolate pies, well everything she made. It was fun to go to Aunt Mary's house.
Dear Dorothy, Shirley and Loretta, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I am thinking of you all during this time. I always liked Mary and, enjoyed when our family would visit and stay with you all several times. Of course, like everyone else says, Mary was a wonderful cook. I was always intrigued watching her cook on her wood stove. Wishing you peace and comfort in your sorrow. Love, Jo Ann Cook Stewart cousin

I always enjoyed going to Mary's house in Goldthwaite as a child. I too remember her cooking and how delicious it was. I remember Mary as a quiet person and easy to be around. Phil and Candy Cook

Many of my childhood memories of Goldthwaite revolved around Mary. She was so sweet, and had a wonderful laugh. She'd greet us with "Get out and come in" when we'd drive up to visit. She always made us feel welcome. Ruth Cook
