I have known Mary Lee for over 40 years, it all started when I was about 5 years old and she worked as a receptionist at my dentist office, I always gave her a school picture and she would put it in a picture by her desk and over the years she would have several of them. She left the office and I did not see her again until 1991, we bought a house in Plano and moved in and when I met my new neighbors it was Dave and Mary Lee, I felt so lucky that we were reunited after many years. I worked for the same dentist she had worked for and now she was the patient, not a great patient she did not like to go to the dentist she told me one day I just laughed since that is where we first met. We lived next door to each other for 18 years, she shared in the births of my boys, our birthdays, the births of her great grandchildren and when she needed me or just needed to talk to someone we talked, and shared family stories. I know she was lonely when her husband passed away but in my eyes she just kept on going in her own Mary Lee style. Once we moved, I really missed seeing her at the mailbox but we still had our phone calls. I will really miss my dear friend, but I know she is with Dave and her dog Bentley, and Dave Jr her son. I will remember her southern accent, how much she loved to talk about her family. She will be missed.
