Mary Hutchinson Lewis, 84 of Dallas, Texas was born on July 19, 1937 in De Kalb, Texas to Mable and Robert Doss Hutchinson. Mary was the middle child; Lynn Shafer was her older sister and Robert Hutchinson was her younger brother. Read Obituary
Was honored and proud to call Mary a friend. Became acquainted with Mary when I joined the staff at Greenville Avenue Bank, where Mary was employed. We continued our acquaintance in a group of former bank employees that met for breakfast each month. I will very much miss seeing and visiting with Mary. She was a sweetheart.

Mary Lewis was hired by my husband, Ed Whittemore, at Republic
Bank Greenville Avenue here in Dallas. He always said she was one of his best hires. I met Mary through that connection. During all of our "younger days," we enjoyed bank events and "get togethers" at parties. You could always count on Mary's attendance. We are also a part of the Third Thursday Morning Breakfast Club of bank retirees. Mary was one of a kind - the most loving, kind, and considerate person we have ever known. We enjoyed her company and her friendship and shall miss her tremendously.
