Ms. Pope was my 2nd-grade teacher, many years ago, in Genoa, Texas. She left at midyear to go on maternity leave, but left us all with many fond memories. I was fortunate enough to meet her, and her lovely family, about 20 years ago at a function at Richardson Pearce high school. Yes, it is a very small world. Godspeed, Ms. Pope, from a person who was very blessed to have been in one of your classes.
