I worked at Windsor Senior Living and I took care of Ms. Mary in the mornings. She was the best resident I ever had and will remain the best resident. She was not just my resident but a friend I will truly miss her. Even when I left Windsor I would still visit her and she was always beautiful and friendly and caring. I will never forget her and she will always be in my heart because she is the reason I continue to this type of work. To her daughters, if you ever read this I would love to talk to you. My husband Rudy and I worked at Braniff with both Mary and Turner. They were some of our “special” Braniff friends. We had a number of visits with them in their home and at restaurants for meals. I remember some of the reservation folks were intimidated by Mary over the phone due to her gravely voice and professional manner. I never could imagine that because I always found her warm and charming. Turner was one of the agents at the airport you could always count on to be in the right spot on time. We were in England when Mary left us and just now found out about her passing. I’m sorry we couldn’t be there for her service but Mary always knew we loved her. We will miss her and Turner. Mary was a classy lady who always looked like she just stepped out of a fashion magazine. We took many trips with her and Turner and enjoyed many meals out together. They were always fun to be with and were a true joy in our lives. They were both giving and loving. We loved them both and they will always remain in our hearts. To the Roughton family…. I'm just a housebound 97 year old former Braniff guy and I remember so well Mary being at the ticket counter and Turner and I, along with Tom Currie and Tom Nabors holding down the ramp. Mary and Turner and my wife and I used to get together ever so often and have dinner. Turner and Mary would drive up in their big white cadillac with the wire wheels, and we would enjoy our time together. I remember the wonderful collection of big band records that Turner had, but he wouldn't sell any of them to me. Turner has been gone for quite a while now and I've kinda lost touch with Mary the last few years. My wife and I remember our good times together and will always remember what a wonderful, smiling and good natured gal Mary has always been. Blessings to the family. Harvey Ladd 972 772-3012
