Mary was the true definition of a free spirit! Her unique laugh and smile were a life memory for me and will be missed. Have wonderful memories of a bicycle trip in France. Lots of wine, laughter, friendship and antics. So beautiful… she never seemed to age. Gone too soon!! Meet you on the Rainbow Bridge Mary with all our puppies! Love, Keith
Sven and I have two fond memories of Mary: (1) she and her mom and dad visited us in Bernard Maine when she was 7 and Sven was 3; they had a great time together; she entertained him all the time they were there. (2) she and Mark visited New Orleans last winter for a Mardi Gras ball and we were able to spend precious time with her. You were way too young and vibrant to leave us, Mary Kay! Mrs. Davisson and Mark: I am so sorry to hear about Mary's passing. She was truly a gem. My friendship with Mary began in elementary school and I have always known how fortunate I was to have her in my life. We may not have seen much of each other over the years but that distance never erased the special friendship that I felt with her. I last saw Mary and her mom when they came to Iowa City a few years ago. She was still that same spunky, fun person and I will always remember her that way. My sympathies to your family. To Mark and the Family, during the five years I worked with, and sat next to Mary in the office on Midway road, one thing you could always count on was that smile of hers. Such an upbeat attitude and great work ethic. Her success at Xerox was a surprise to none, and she was respected by all who knew her. Mary really knew how to live, riding bikes in Europe etc. My reaction is how we all have been cheated by this disease that takes so many from us. All are better that knew Mary Davisson Sanderson, and my heartfelt sympathy to Mark and the family. Brad Pierce
