While I only got to know her later in life, Mittie will always be remembered by me and my family for her enduring kindness and contagiously sweet disposition. Her welcoming spirit and attitude is appreciated more than she knew. May God bless her.
My great aunt was a wonderful, loving person and will dearly be missed. My thoughts and prayer are with the family.
I loved Aunt Melba very much. I will always remember her as my "fun and pretty aunt" from my childhood. It was a blessing to get to visit with her and re-establish our relationship at the Mathis family reunion two summers ago. My prayers, thoughts, and love are with all the family at this very precious time of Aunt Melba's home-going.
