My dad ,Campbell Willard, and Lenard Whitehouse we’re cousins. We spent a lot of time with them when I was little. Loved them both . Always wanted to visit. I just ran across a sympathy card she sent when my mom died. Looked up her name and saw she lived until 2017. Now I’m crying wishing I had checked sooner. Would love to have contacted her??
A small memory of a loving caring Melba at CCC in Mesquite. Melba lived across the hall from my mother (Josie). When the doors were open, they would sneak a peek and say their hellos and turn and walk away. Every time I went to visit mom, and Melba was in the hallway, she would greet me with a HUGE smile and we would chit chat a little, she would smile even wider, and then give this great laugh which started a contagious laugh to me and the staff around us. I have missed your smile lately, and know that God has a ray of sunshine to keep him and his angels happy.
