My thoughts and prayers for Ada Merle, Tim, Mary, Brenda, Scott, Larry, Marsha and the rest of the family. Uncle Melvin was one of a kind. When I was a young kid and we would go on vacation I was never really excited to go. Thought I needed to be home with my friends and hang out. Well I will say I am so glad that I did go on those family vacations. They are some of the most precious memories I have. Memories of the times we went on vacation to Yellowstone and Red River. I will always remember when we would go to the horse races and Uncle Melvin always picked the old gray mare to win the race. There was one time on vacation Ada Merle was putting rocks in the back of the car and every time she would go get more Uncle Melvin was throwing them out. He was so good to always call and check on my mom when she was sick and on my Dad after my mom passed away actually before she got sick he would always call and see how they were both doing. I can hear his voice now saying "Whats going on" When he first met Cal he treated him like he had known him all is life. I am honored he is my Uncle and Thank you God for giving him 93 years on earth and Thank you Uncle Melvin for all that you did for our country. You will be missed by many. I love you so much and I know you are in heaven with all of those who have gone on before you. Heaven has gained a special angel. Until we meet again see you later. Gone but never forgotten.
