Michael played football and baseball for me at Shelton in Middle School. Although he was not the biggest kid, he played like he was. At cornerback - nobody got outside of him and he surprised many a big running back by putting them on the ground. I was sad to see him leave Shelton and I always enjoyed coaching him. Many share in your pain, Bill, Cindy and Alex, over your unexpected loss. Although I met Mike briefly only once, your and Delores's comments helped frame what a fine young man he was.

This is always how I'll remember sweet Michael. Tough as nails with eyes that would melt your heart. Such a huge loss to this world. I wish you peace Cindy. The void is never filled, but love eventually fills the cracks and softens the sharp, painful edges. Love and prayers to you my friend.
