Michael Spencer Baillie's Obituary
Michael Spencer Baillie, born October 6, 1995, passed away on August 28, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. Michael is survived by his parents Cindy and Bill Baillie, and older brother Alex. He grew up in Plano, having attended Plano West high school and the Shelton School. He excelled in football, baseball, and soccer. Michael was a champion at heart and earned his way onto many high level sports teams. He loved competition and had a passion for winning. Michael was a true outdoorsman, spending many summers in the Adirondack Mountains on Lake George, in New York. There he learned to hunt, fish, ski, and boat. Recently he loved to share his passion of hunting and fishing by teaching others. He showed a great love for animals and had many pets that included his dog Buddy, several cats, and many reptiles. Most recently he applied to join the National Guard to fulfill his lifelong dream of being in the military and serving his country. Michael was a kind, compassionate, loving son, brother, and friend to all. He will be missed beyond measure. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Milton “Colonel” and Marion Baillie, and William and Beverly Karl. A private ceremony will be held on September 19, 2020, 2:00 P.M., at Restland Funeral Home. The service can be viewed at
