I met Michael 12 years ago. When he married my sister, I remember how happy they were, and from that day on, Michael became a constant presence in my life.
Michael was a kind, gentle, and deeply caring soul. He was there for me through every stage of my life and was always the one I could call for anything. Whether I was sick, needed help, or needed a ride to or from the airport even after midnight. He never hesitated. He would check on me, worrying about my safety as I often traveled alone to unfamiliar places. He truly cared about my well being.
Michael called me EHITE, which means “sister.” That meant more to me than I can put into words and I truly regarded him as my brother .
One of the greatest lessons Michael taught me was to be thankful and content with what we have, and to trust in G-D. His faith was unwavering. Even in immense pain, he continued to thank G-D until his very last breath. Witnessing that strengthened my own faith and gave me a deeper understanding of life, purpose, and the afterlife.
I will miss him deeply, and I thank Hashem for the years I was blessed to have with him.
Until we meet again 🤍
