Michael Raymond Kapsa's Obituary
Mike Kapsa passed away at home in the arms of his wife Cathy, on June 30, 2016. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on December 22, 1958 and attended school in Stow, Ohio. Upon graduation, he went into the Air Force. He worked for Southwest Airlines for 23 years. He recently acquired his licensing and landed his dream job as an Aerospace Auditor. Mike was a loving father, and loved his sisters and family. Mike married his true love, Cathy on July 11, 2015, and was a devoted husband and a servant of God, who was always there for his wife, family and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his father Raymond, mother Jane, and his sister, Denise. He is survived by his wife, Cathy. Children; Rebecca, Audrey, Raymond, Emma and Andrew Kapsa. His sisters; Diane Culpin and husband, David, Deborah Hughes and husband Chris and Doreen Blackstone and husband Greg. Cathy’s daughters; Shannon Adair, Nicki Fansler and her husband, Jason and 10 grandchildren. He has 8 nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas Texas, 75243. Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, 720 South Floyd Rd. Richardson, Texas 75080. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to the CJD Foundation.
