I met Mike at Hurricane Creek and we became part of a regular group that played weekly. His easy going personality and good sense of humor was fun to be around. Perhaps both growing up in the Northeast gave us some common ground in our outlooks. Us Yankees had to stick together. I will truly miss Mike and I would like to offer my condolences to his family. Mike was a Playday mate at HCCC. Always loved playing w/ him. Our connection was also that we were both from Great River, NY – a very small place. We often traded stories re caddying @ Timber Point CC in our youth as well as other East Islip/Long Island memories. Mike was always easy going and fun. I will miss him for sure.
