Michael Walter O'Neill's Obituary
Michael Walter O’Neill was born on May 26, 1945 in Queens N.Y. and passed away on September 11, 2014 in Plano TX. Michael served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was there during the 1968 TET offensive. Upon leaving the service worked for Pan AM Airlines before joining Electronic Data Systems (E.D.S.) in 1971 where he worked for 29 years. Upon leaving E.D.S. Michael worked for Citi Group before retiring in 2011. Golf, woodworking, and his family were his passions during retirement. Michael is survived by his wife, Rhonda Hoover O’Neill; sons, Shawn, Ryan, Jason; five grandchildren and brother, Charles O’Neill of Heber Springs, Arkansas. The memorial service for Michael will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
