Dear, dear Farmers, I believe your family are our family's oldest friends, at least it seems like we have known you since before I was born. How I wish I could be there to wrap my arms around you, each one. We grieve with you. We weep with you. But we also hope with you in the life to come. Mrs. Farmer (as I called her growing up) was a beautiful woman whose life centered around her family. To my childhood friends, Eileen, Lisa and Alice, I extend my deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. Charles, Eileen, Lisa, and Alice Ann, I feel so blessed to have lived across the street from you for about fifteen years. It was always a joy to look across the street at your beautiful house and yard in which both of you worked so hard to keep it looking immaculate. Your wife and mother was a wonderful lady whom I loved and respected. I am sorry that the last few years have been so hard for all of you.
