Monte Vaughn Guidry's Obituary
Monte Vaughn Guidry was born on December 8, 1925 in Fredricksberg, Texas and passed away April 15, 2017 in Round Rock, Texas. Monte was a Navy Vet and part of Iwo Jima. He was a member of the Dallas Gun Club and avid hunter. He went to radio school at A&M and later SMU. Preceded in death by his wife, Carollyn Bassham Guidry; son, Jarrett Lon Guidry; his parents; Leland and Eva Guidry; brother, Leland Guidry. Monte is survived by his son, Tod Bonner Guidry; grandchildren, Paige Guidry and Cortney Guidry; as well as great grandchildren and family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. A graveside service for Monte will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, April 28, 2017 at DFW National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
