Myrtle Clare {Armstrong} Short Born August 22, 1917 in Shreveport, LA. Went to be with her Lord early Sunday morning, June 14, 2009 At the age of 92. Preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Belton Short, Jr., June 2, 1965 and her daughter, Bettye Jeanne Streeter, October 5, 1992. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sally Schafhirt; 5 granddaughters: Lisa {M.L} Morgan , Susie {Joe} Jimenez, Marcy Amis, Stacy {Michael} Deaton and Lanie {Joe} Boucher; 11 great grandchildren; Stephanie {Brian}, John Jr., Roger {Alisha}, Christal {Angel}, Tasha {Gibby} , Christopher {Tiffany}, Amber {Billy}, David, Mark, Joseph and Sammy; 22 great great-grandchildren; Annalisa, Carley, Parker, Haley, JD, Harley, Shelby, Natalie, Andres Jr, Joseph, Cassie, Nathan, Angel, Noah, Aliza, Aricela, Angelina, Gilbert III, Alyssa, Jacob, Julien, Kaden, Jakob and one on the way; extended family and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 12:30PM at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home on Greenville Ave. in Dallas, Texas. Pallbearers will be family members.
