Dear Mr. Merchant and David, Your family is one my sweetest memories of childhood. Dale was a dear friend and Mrs. Merchant was one of the most elegant, hippest moms I knew! My heart is with you and your family. Love to all, Susan (Adwan) Hughes
MS. NAN , SUCH A DEAR FRIEND , SECOND MOM , and a TRUE ELEGANT BEAUTIFUL CARING LADY , WHO WE LOVE DEARLY
Somehow the years slip away and you never seem to have time to tell someone how much they meant to you. When they are gone, you wish you had told them they mattered in your life, but it is too late. So it was with Nan. On hearing of her passing, we remember her grace and dignity in dealing with life's ups and downs — as well as her ready smile and sense of humor. Nan's preparedness and her strong sense of caring for others had a positive and beneficial effect on us all. I wish we had thanked her before, but that chance is gone. So we thank you now Nan… Dale and Sylvia Nichols Todd, Tambra and Holly
Our prayers and thoughts are with your entire family during these difficult times. I always thought Nan was such a beautiful lady. You made a wonderful couple. Our love to you all.
There are no words to convey the sadness we feel for your loss, so we just want you to know that we love you, and we are better people for having known and loved Aunt Nan.
