I will certainly miss you Cousin Nancy. You have always been in my life and honestly I have felt so lost these last few weeks when I can't pick up the phone and call you. We have shared many movies, dinners and travel adventures and life together. The world and my life in particular will certainly be empty without you in it.
Nancy and I met while working in the keypunch dept of the Dallas Police Dept. We remained friends for over 55 years. She was truly my best friend. Thursday, before her passing, I spent several hours with her in the hospital. We chatted about all our years together with laughter and tears. In the past few years we would make yearly visits to each others home, but mostly we chatted on the phone, mostly daily and sometimes several times in one day, not counting that some phone calls were over 2hours long. What did we have to say? Everything and nothing. We were just good good friends enjoying each other over the miles on a phone conversation. I will miss my dear friend, Nancy, more than words can express.
