Nancy Diane Shakeri's Obituary
Nancy Diane Shakeri of Bells, Texas, passed into the kingdom of heaven on December 30, 2023, at the age of 76 years old.
Nancy was born October 25, 1947, in Dallas, Texas to Robert and Grace Wilson. She attended Bryan Adams High School class of 1965. After graduation, Nancy began her career at the City of Dallas where she worked until her retirement in 1998.
Nancy had a passion for reading romance novels, shopping at flea markets and thrift stores and traveling. Some of her favorite places that she traveled to was Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, and London. Nancy was also very affectionate towards her animals and often took care of strays in her neighborhood.
Nancy was most proud of her daughter and granddaughters. In all that she did, she kept them at the forefront of her life. A conversation with Nancy was almost certain to include her bragging on Sara, Bayleigh and Brooklyn.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace Wilson, and brother, John Wilson.
Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory include her daughter, Sara Hogan and husband Billy, granddaughter Bayleigh Vogel and husband Jackson, granddaughter Brooklyn Feemster and husband Braxton, grandsons Bailey Hogan, Cole Hogan and Spencer Hogan, great-grandson Greyson Hogan and sisters Judy Butler and Susan Griffin. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her deeply.
Nancy's family will receive friends on January 21, 2024, from 3:00-5:00pm at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
