I remember my Aunt Nell always as the most beautiful and perfect lady. When my family went to visit, which was often, as the family played all kinds of games my sister and I would fall asleep on her chase lounge until time for us to go home. After I grew up I always wanted a "Chase Lounge like Aunt Nell's". Funny how after getting one of my own was never the same – Aunt Nell's was special and spending this time with my sister was special. Great Memories. Barbara Jack

Hey Deborah..i am Susan Cantrell..One of the volunteers from Lifepoint Church that sponsored the weekly domino games at Hawkins….I remember the first time I met your mom there, and how we made an instant connection, She shared stories about your dad and how they met,,his POW experiences and how she nurtured him back to health when he came home after the war…Her stories fascinated me, and I remember crying right along with her..Evidently they had a wonderful love that withstood many trials..Im sure she was ready to go home and be reunited with him.. I'm sorry that I missed the annoucement of her passing.. Connie was told that she had transferred to another nursing home, and we were planning on going to see her yesterday ..Sadly we learned that she had passed on..Please know you are in my prayers I know you must miss her, and you were a very devoted daughter…She touched a place in my heart for sure..
