I met Nina in 1970 when our children were about the same age. I met Steve (4) running down my driveway in his camo outfit shouting "don't forget!" I asked "don't forget what?" and Steve answered "just don't forget". Little did I know he lived across the street from the house we were building and his mother and i would become good friends.
Nina and I spent many conversations (after some wine) reliving the past..and trying to figure out what I shouldn't forget. We spent time laughing while drinking coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoons. She loved to revisit the Halloween's we had in Whispering Oaks, the parties we had...just revisiting "the old days". And laugh we did. .and I can still hear her laugh .
Tina and Steve, you will never know how much she loved you and Luke and Pax...except, Steve, I don't know if she ever understood our political choices.
Sorry for saying so much..there is so much more. I loved my friend and will miss her terribly.
