Nina Earline Warren's Obituary
On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Nina Arnold Warren went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at age eighty, her son and daughter by her side, after a courageous battle with dementia.
Nina was born to Earl and Katherine Arnold on January 17, 1942 in Beaumont, Texas. She married in 1963, completed work on her Secretarial Sciences degree from Lamar University in 1965, and spent the next decades raising her two children, Christina and Steve.
She was known for her sharp wit and sense of humor and had a close-knit group of friends who stayed in touch after she moved from her long-time home of Houston to Dallas to be closer to her children in 1993. She was a staunch animal advocate, spending many years as a Feral Friends volunteer, feeding her neighborhood strays and even adopting cats through the years.
Nina is survived by her brother Earl Arnold, Jr. of Silsbee, her daughter Christina Lemonds of Flower Mound and son Steve Benckenstein of Dallas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Munger Place Church, 5200 Bryan Street, Dallas, TX 75206.
Funeral arrangements for Nina Earline Warren have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243
