Norman Gene Gaut, 84, of Richardson, TX passed away on August 5, 2016. He was born in Jefferson County Kansas on December 29, 1931. He served in the US Air Force and graduated from LeTourneau University with a degree in Engineerin Read Obituary
Mr. Norm was always a cheerful sight on our daily school route. I always felt better about the kids walking to and from school knowing he was looking after them. He was a tremendous blessing to our school. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to celebrate him at our school's 50th anniversary last year. We'll always think of him when we see his bench. We will miss him dearly. – the Dreyers
Norman Gaut was one of a kind. He was a kind a loving gentleman, father, friend. We love and miss him. We know and find great comfort in knowing he is enjoying his new home though. He is now asking all those questions we had in Bible Study! He most certainly will be missed here.
Mr. Gaut worked with me for more than 30 years. He was a crossing guard at Canyon Creek Elementary. He was loved by all at the school and took great care of all the children who crossed his path. I can't express how much I will miss picking up the phone and hearing "Hey, Queen Bee!" He was a treasure!
Norm was one of a kind. We shared many stories together. Until next time Norm. Rest well!
The Canyon Creek Community is very proud to have known Mr. Gaut. He genuinely cared for our students not only as a crossing guard but as a friend to all. We will miss his daily visits and his kind smile.
Beverly Bob and I are so sorry to hear about this wonderful man leaving us. He was doing so well and a great man to everyone. Remember, God only takes the best and he truly was one of the BEST. We know you will miss him so much but Norm lived his life here on earth and stayed very active. No more suffering for him. Our love to you and the family. We did not know he had two sons; thought he only had one. He had a wonderful family. We are so happy he found a great gal like you.
