Gene, was a nice guy…………he will be missed……….Sally Greer
I just found out from a friend in Farmers Branch that a church member by the name of Gene Adams had died and she wanted to know if it was the Gene Adams that had worked with me at TI. I had to get on the Restland site and to my great sorrow it was. Gene was a great friend to me and my husband. We were so very sorry when June passed on and now our friend has also joined his beloved wife. Our deepest condolences to Glen and Debbie and the grandchildren.
I have enjoyed seeing Gene at the Carrollton Sr. Center, the Carrollton senior dances and the Farmers Branch sr. dances. He was always ready with a friendly greeting and open arms, willing to share a dance if he were able. I will miss him.
I worked at TI with Gene for a few years until he retired. He was a good man and I know he will be missed.
I was hired by Texas Instruments back in 1983 and was assigned to work with Gene and Hugh Metzler. 2 of the finest men I've had the honor of working with. They "raised" me as mentors which launched me into a wonderfully successful career. I still speak to others with stories of working with Gene and others and how much they helped me get started in life. Gene was a truly good man. Thank you. Paul Roewer
