Onis Eugene Adams' Obituary
Onis Eugene “Gene” Adams age 78, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away on May 22, 2010. He was born in Black Missouri on June 3, 1931 and was a long time resident of Farmers Branch Texas. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and worked for Texas Instruments until his retirement. Gene loved spending time fishing, wood working, doing crafts, was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed dancing and dominoes in his later years. Gene is proceeded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty June. He is survived by his son Glendon “Glen” Onis Adams of Carrolton Texas, and daughter Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Brown and husband Gary of Angleton Texas, brother Dean Adams of Fredericksburg Missouri, sister Kay Mann of St. Louis Missouri, 2 Granddaughters Amy McBrayer and husband Chris of Houston Texas, and Sarah Michelle Brown of Baton Rouge Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 26th at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday, May 27th at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas Texas followed by internment at Restland Cemetery.
