My we offer our condolences in this time of sorrow for you family. May the treasured memories that you all have sustain you in this difficult time!
As Otho's youngest brother, I have fond memories as a young boy when my brother came home from World War II. I also remember when he reenlisted in 1946 and went to Korea. I remember when he came home from Korea and went to Germany. We became very close after I enlisted in the Army and we served at the same time. After we retired we remained close friend and pals the rest of his life.
To the Carter Family. It has been many years since I have seen Otho and his family. My Dad Jimmie, is Otho's younger brother. My Dad and my younger son E.J. are on the way to Dallas now. My oldest son Tim, lives in Forth Worth and will be there to comfort you as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Donna, Tim and E.J.
I'm Jimmie's oldest grandson Tim. I had the chance to see Otho a few times in the past year or so; we even got to watch some baseball on TV. My deepest condolences go out to the immediate family. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
I'm a first cousin to Otho and his brothers. I always enjoyed visiting with him when he came home. My wife, Jean, and I send our deepest sympathies to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
