My 2nd mom and I couldn't be luckier to have her in my life. She was always kind, caring, and treated me as a member of her family. Extremely smart with a wit to match, she also was very driven to better herself and her kids and spent her life passing knowledge to her students. She will always have a special place in my heart and will never be forgotten. This loss is tough but her warm smile and jokes will live on. Miss you Mama C and thanks for all you’ve given me.

Many years ago my wife and I were friends with her and Doug - we went to dinners , parties , New years, etc.. All of us were young, fun, and carefree. I ‘ve kept up with Patty and have admired her resilience and her initiative to get advanced degrees and become a respected professor. She overcame so much - stuff that would have defeated a lot of people. I was also a very good friend of Dougs. The way they parted ways and lived there lives was something to see but nobody did it better than your Mom !!! You guys need to always remember the struggles she must have gone through and the strength, love and determined that she had to make a good life for you’ll.
