Patsy was a friend that I will miss. We served together in Taiwan. She and Hunter shared their home and table with me. She was a beautiful women and Child of God.
Condolences to Hunter, Joel, Lydia and Glen. Patsy was very much involved in the life of Taiwan Baptist Mission, very respected. She led a Discipleship course for some of our missionaries, myself included. It was very effective as she was a very good leader.

Joel, I am so sorry! I always remember your mother as being so calm and beautiful. I am sorry for your whole family's loss.

Hunter and Family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as we celebrate the life of Patsy, our friend and co-worker in Taiwan, China. I particularly want to mention how much Hunter and Patsy meant to me and Anne and our family when we arrived in Taiwan at the end of April, 1963. Both of you assisted us to life and orientation in Taiwan as we began the study of the Taiwanese dialect and our missionary work among the Taiwanese speaking Chinese in Taiwan. Our family will always remember you, Hunter and Patsy, for your help, encouragement and the beginning of our ministry in Taiwan. We thank God for you and all you meant to our mission family and to the Chinese people during your missionary work and ministry on the beautiful island of Taiwan. God bless each of you in the Hammett family and also those who will be sharing with you in Patsy's home going.
With love in Christ,
J. Billy and Graham Family
Dear Hunter, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Patsy shared a long life of service to our Lord and made a great impact on the lives of so many people, including me. My prayers are with you as you start this part of your journey of walking with the Lord by yourself. It will be different. There most certainly will be some lonely times, but you will never be alone. God’s Spirit and the prayers of many people will be everywhere, helping you through. God’s blessings on you. Angie Golmon
