I wanted to send a note to Paul J Fouts family.
I never met Paul, but, back in the 70’s & 80’s whenever I worked for Western Union, I got to know Paul over the telephone as he was such a nice client.
Western Union had an answering service at one time and I was in charge of this particular service.
I remember, for some reason, mentioning that the largest stone in my wedding ring was loose and I was afraid that it might fall out. Well, Paul said that if I would go to a certain client of his, he would see that it was taken care of at that time.
I had no doubts that Paul was trustworthy and I did take it there and they repaired it and I have had no problems with it since this time.
My husband passed away in 2015 after fifty years of marriage.
As nice as Paul and his wife were to me, I just wanted to let the family know just how much I appreciated my friendship with Paul and how much I admired him.
How special for him to live to be 102. What a wonderful life he must have had.
Paul’s family will be in my prayers.
