Paul Jennings Fouts' Obituary
Paul Jennings Fouts, age 102, was born to parents Orma Ott and Laymond Fouts in Youngstown, Ohio on July 24, 1916. He passed away on the late evening hours of Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by his family. Paul is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Anderson (Robert O. Anderson) of Dallas, Texas; and son, Bob Fouts (Marilyn Fouts) of Garland, Texas; and grandchildren, Amy Nicole Anderson of Austin, Texas and David Paul Anderson of Galveston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Fouts; and sisters, Audrey Gardner and Lorretta Landers. He loved traveling, dancing, and enjoying great outdoors. He was an Army World War II Veteran and a bronze star recipient. Paul and Dorothy took their children and grandchildren to Galveston every summer. He taught his son, Robert and grandson David a love of fishing. Paul was also a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He had many friends and a real zest for life. Paul will be deeply missed by his loving family, his devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who came to know and love him.Visitation for Paul Fouts will be on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
