Peggy was lots of fun and always made you happy and enjoy being with her. She loved to laugh and tell funny stories and usually did so in spite of many aches and pains and not feeling well herself. She was blessed with the love of her family and the adoration of her cats and kittens and loved them all in return. You will be missed but never forgotten and loved forever, my SISTER. My sorrow will end when I see you again, and we once more share laughter and love over one of your stories…. Rita
I often refer to Peggy as my Godmother because "Mom's best friend" didn't come close to describing our relationship. She was so much more and has always held a spot in my heart as family, as have Brian and Vicky. She was an encourager, a nurturer, a supporter, a reality-checker, an adviser, a confidant, and a keeper of secrets. She often made me laugh, sometimes made me cry, and always shared her love and affection. I was always able to come to her with anything, good or bad, without fear of being judged. Make no mistake! She always said exactly what she thought, but managed to do so in a loving way and without judgment. She had a knack for being brutally honest, but with love. I will miss our long conversations that often drifted randomly from one topic to the next. While I am heartbroken that you are not here with us, I take solace in knowing that we will meet again in our Father's house. I love you, Mama #2!
