My husband and I moved into the neighborhood in 1991. Lee and Radonna were the first neighbors we met. They were the nicest people. Through the years we became good friends. The two of them would go for a walk every evening. If we were outside, they always stopped and engaged in conversation. We appreciated their wisdom. We thought we were special but soon realized it wasn't just us, they treated everyone with kindness and respect. When our children were born they took to them right away. Each and every holiday, rain or shine, there was always a beautiful bag full of trinkets, books and goodies left on the porch for them. Just like her family and everyone else who knew Radonna, we were taken aback with the news of her passing. We will miss her indefinitely, she was one of a kind. Rest in peace our dear friend.
To Russ and the rest of the family, she loved you and spoke fondly of you all the time.
Our family will be praying for yours as you navigate though this difficult time.
With love,
The Ellis Family
