Ramiro Lucio Jr.'s Obituary
Ramiro Lucio, Jr. (68) was born July 21,1957 and passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2025.
He graduated from Harlingen High School and played football at East Texas State University (Texas A&M-Commerce). He earned B. Ed and M. Ed and began a career in education with the Richardson ISD. Ramiro loved his work as a teacher and coach at Forest Meadow Jr. High and Lake Highlands High School. He was especially devoted to the students and families at Richardson High School, where he served as Assistant Principal from 1998 till his retirement in 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro and Ida; and by his beloved dog, Zeke.
Survivors include his brother, Tony Lucio, and sister, Yolanda Saldivar, both of Harlingen. He is also survived by his two sons and their wives: Kramer (Ariele) from Houston; and Raegan (Alyssa) from Dallas.
Ramiro should be remembered as a man who was devoted to the ideology that all students have a capacity for learning, and a man who was passionate about the camaraderie of team sports--especially football.
