Uncle Rulo always had a way of making me laugh whenever I saw him. He was witty and caring, and it was easy to want to be around him when he was near. I loved playing games with him because I knew they’d be a challenge filled with lots of laughs. I’m sure he even let me win a few times—just to give me confidence. I know you’ll be watching over the family alongside Grandpa Wito. Love you.
One of the best uncles I could have asked for. He always came to cheer us on during our softball/baseball games. He was one of my favorite babysitters growing up, we’d watch tv together and play pinball on the computer, take us bowling with him and auntie Ria when he was in his bowling league, and in the summer going jet skiing at the lake. Those are the memories I will always carry of uncle Rulo. Love and miss you uncle!
It was Christmas, I don’t think I was a teenager yet but him and Anna gifted me a stainless steal watch. I remember it being the best thing I had at the time and wore it everyday until the battery died. I still have that watch, I just need to change the battery.
Whenever he said “hey, mija” when I walked into the room and then greeted me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
I have so many memories of my brother Rulo. First I like to say my brother was sharp especially in trivia I wasn't the only one to call him about movie Trivia or sports. We would say call Rulo he knows. This particular memory was when I played in a women's softball league and he was my coach. He wanted me to play catcher. WHAT!! Catcher? Do i get to wear a mask? No. I can't do that. Just try he said. Ok..Then I squat down for first time during the practice. Oh no that bats gonna hit me I need to back up more. No I can't do it.He pulled me aside and begin to encourage me. Then finally told me Aren't I a Villarreal? Yes! very proudly. Im your brother I won't let you get hurt. That's when I knew I can do it because Rulo has always been a protector over all his younger siblings .He was the best older brother a sibling can have. Thanks Junner (jr.) for always looking out for us. Love you Sandy
We miss you! 🧡
