I remember interviewing with Ray back in the spring of 1983 at Electrospace Systems. His entrepreneurial spirit, along with everyone else I met on the recruiting visit inpired me to really want to work at Electrospace Systems. I am so blessed I received a very generous offer, and grateful I accepted it over "familiar big company names" in DFW at the time. We did INCREDIBLE things at Electrospace, from solid state switching systems to industry first, non-blocking and unlimited conferencing secure (Red) digital switching systems and Tempest Multi-line conferencing phones and devices. Hill Air Force Base, Edwards Air Force Base and the B2 program, CSOC in Colorado which is now Space Force, NASA Kennedy Space Center and the DoD Space shuttle, Cape Canaveral Air Force Base Titan IV program and the IDCS MDS-a product family, and of course, the Defense Red Switch Program and SDS-1 product family, were all incredible platforms and products we all built in the Telecom Division of Electrospace Systems. My proudest moment of the DRSN "in use" by the POTUS and General Powell, with General Schwarzkopf on the other end of the Secure Digital conference call, during Operation Desert Storm, is a memory and photo I still show people today. They are impressed that a bunch of guys in Richardson, TX outshined ATT, Bell labs, GTE, and "all the big boys" and built such incredible Communication Systems. Thank you Ray for encouraging me to join "the Electrospace family" back in 1983. Saludos! And I am sure we will meet again. God Bless your family.
