Father's Day 2023, I actually thought I would try and dress up for Father's Day so I wore my white and blue floral sundress and sandals. The kids and I were heading over to see dad but I was having car problems on the way there and my car stalled. Got it back running and finally got to the house to celebrate Father's Day. But instead of relaxing and enjoying the day, dad was adamant about getting my car a new battery so we went to O'Riley's and bought one. The thing is, we had to install it ourselves and he was very confident that between the two of us we could handle it. Lol normally I would've been fine but we had a good laugh because of all days I was wearing a dress - there's me and dad hovering over my car trying to lift this heavy car battery in place and didn't have the necessary tools in the middle of summer in Texas! Hahahaha if that wasn't funny enough, once we got the tools we needed (after borrowing from other customers) I started to connect the cables to the battery and my bracelet touched the battery and gave me a good shock!! I still have a scar on my wrist from it too/ but totally worth it! Just one of the many memories with dad where he simply believed we could.. so we did. And we got it done!!
