Reynaldo Sol Cruz's Obituary
With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Reynaldo Sol Cruz on June 7, 2026. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend. Reynaldo leaves behind a legacy of wisdom, compassion, and meaningful connections that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Born on December 13, 1949, in Manila, Philippines, Reynaldo carried with him a strong sense of determination, resilience, and dedication throughout his life. He eventually made his home in Texas, where he built a successful career, raised a loving family, and formed lasting friendships within his community.
Reynaldo spent much of his professional life in the private country club industry, serving as Clubhouse Manager for several distinguished country clubs in the Dallas area, including Prestonwood Country Club, Bent Tree Country Club, and most recently Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club. He was respected for his professionalism, leadership, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. His impact extended far beyond the workplace, earning the admiration and friendship of colleagues, members, and staff throughout his career.
While his career accomplishments were significant, those who knew Reynaldo best will remember him for something even greater: his gift for mentoring others. The people around him in which he cherished often sought his guidance. He had a remarkable way with words, offering advice, encouragement, and wisdom that was both thoughtful and impactful. Whether through a heartfelt conversation, a life lesson, or a simple observation, Reynaldo had a unique ability to leave people better than how he found them.
Above all, he cherished his family. Reynaldo is survived by his loving wife, Aurora Sol Cruz; his children, Jenny Massinello, Oliver Sol Cruz, Omar Sol Cruz, Ava Sol Cruz, and Allan Sol Cruz; his cherished grandchildren, Kara, Peyton, Isabella, Isaiah, Zayla, Troy, Samson, Kendall, Landry, Amaya, Maceo, and Ayla. His greatest legacy lives on through the family he loved, the people he mentored.
His words will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew him, and his lessons will be carried forward for generations to come.
Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate a life well lived—the family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
