Richard was a good neighbor and friend. He shared his peaches, tomatoes, potatoes, etc. with us. He kept his yard as neat as possible. We will miss him.
My condolences go out to you Donna, Melissa and family. I never met you but feel like I did through visits with your dad. He loved you all dearly. Richard and I for years opened LA fitness up at 5 am everyday. We were the first in the door. Then you knew when he was finished he was headed to McDonald's, he loved his routine. He was an inspiration to so many at our gym. He accomplished so much in his lifetime and I enjoyed hearing stories from him. He will be missed. Sorry I didn't know he was ill, I hope he knows I considered him a great friend. My prayers are with all of you and hope that knowing he is with your mom, will bring you peace.
