Richard’s was a faithful, loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather whose family always came first. His friendships were dear to him, both new and old. His loyalty was steadfast and strong. While his family will miss him dearly, we will always have the memories of the good times, good music, warm love and humor we shared. Hasta luego mi queerido.

Franco family very sorry for your loss. He will be missed. The way he lived taught me so much. The years we giged together are some of my best memories. Years ago a trumpeter from the San Jose Symphony ask where did I learn to play because he liked my style. My reply was Richard Franco, and The Jokers. Thank you Richard. No matter where life leads me, nor how great the other musicians are I will always remember you. Thank you for being you.
