Thank you to my first love, Richard Paul, for the four beautiful, loving children that you gave me. I will cherish them for the rest of my life. Thank you Pat for being a wonderful wife, partner, and caretaker for Paul. He loved you so. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
So many good memories. Paul and Pat were our round dance instructors and our friends. We're going to miss him, but he will be remembered every time we dance to one of the songs he choreographed. We love you Paul. Barbara & Bruce McElmon
Rest in peace my sweet Grandpa Paul. I'm glad I got to have had you in my life. Even if we didnt see each other as often as we should have, you and Pat never missed a birthday or graduation. Thank you for that, it didnt go unoticed. I will cherish the memories we had together and remember you as a fun, caring, and generous man.
If the value of one's life is measured in the pleasure you give others, Paul was a very rich man. As a round dance caller, Paul gave pleasure and happiness to 100's of dancers for many years. Paul was talented in music and in his business of A/C. He will be missed.
I first met Paul and Pat when I was dating Doug. I remember loving his smile from the first time we met. I also remember them both instantly making me feel like family. They were always so fun and loving. My favorite memory will always be dancing with Paul at our wedding. He of course was teaching me what to do. I can still hear him saying "I'll just throw you out there then bring you back". We were the best dancers on the floor! We had so much fun and I'll always cherish that part of our wedding video. Over the years we enjoyed many visits both in TX and in MD. I feel very fortunate that we got to spend so much time together even though we all lived so far apart. Paul will always have a special place in my heart and I'm sure I'll smile every time I think of his smile. Rest in peace Paul, love you!
Everything I have become started with you. Daddy, you got to see everything I am this past week. I know your proud of me. I hope that I can be half the man, half the dad, half the husband you turned out to be. Carley will feed your donuts to Bo. James will forever hold you close. See you soon Daddy!
