Richard P. Goodson's Obituary
Richard Paul Goodson was born on March 17, 1945 and passed away on February 25, 2015. He is survived by his wife, four sons, two daughters, two step daughters, fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Known by most as “Paul,” he was a charismatic man who had a life full of adventures. He loved round dancing and he cued for many years, being a member of different round dancing associations. He also loved to travel and was lucky enough to be able to do so after retirement with his wife, Pat. Paul was an avid sports fan and spent many years coaching his sons baseball teams. He had a long career in heating and air conditioning, was very skilled in the trade, and he enjoyed teaching those skills to others. Paul loved helping out family and it was apparent to most that his children were his greatest source of pride. Richard Paul left this world peacefully surrounded by his children and his wife. Richard’s family will recieve friends Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Funeral service for Richard will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, March 2, 2015 in the Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
