Dear Grandpa Dick: You have been a big part of my life for 22 years (my entire life to be exact). I will never forget the love and kindness you shared not only with your family but also with their friends. I am so incredibly honored and blessed to be one of those friends. You treated me as if I were your own and I did the same. You were a grandfather to me- you extended joy, love, happiness and kindness to me just like you did with your own grandchildren Richie and Ginny. I just want you to know that this family… the Laurin family that you have created is truly one of a kind. This family constantly exhibits genuine, heartfelt virtues that cannot be taught through words but can only be taught through love and experience. Without this family of yours I don't know where I would be. They have provided me with constant amounts of love and support and I know I have you to thank for that. I can't wait to see you on the other side Grandpa Dick! Thank you for the gift of your presence in my life and thank you for creating such an incredibly genuine family. May angels lead you into paradise. We will see you soon. Rest in Peace Grandpa Dick.
